Welcome to the Young People Who Care website

Young People Who Care is an Award for people between the ages of 8 and 18 living in Western Australia who provide voluntary care for others.

The awards consist of four categories:

• Caring in the Community - Individual
• Caring in the Community - Group
• Young Carer - 8 - 13 years
• Young Carer - 14 - 18 years

The awards program aims to acknowledge, reward and support the outstanding contributions of young, compassionate people who are providing voluntary care in the Western Australian community.

The Young People Who Care Awards program is presented in partnership by Carers WA and Woodside Energy Ltd.

Due to insufficient funding the Young People Who Care Awards will not be proceeding in 2016.
